The August Burns Red video for “Meddler” is officially wrapped. As usual, the colorist, Allan Stallard tore it up. We are excited to get to share this video with everyone in the upcoming weeks. We’ll make sure we let you know when the video premieres.
We finished the Owl City shoot. Steve is currently editing the video. We’re really pumped about the video. The set was amazing and a huge thanks to Merissa, Dan, Jeremy, and Jay for all their help putting that together.
We are currently working on a project with Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. It’s extremely moving and life changing to be working with these kids who are survivors of some sort of transplant. Even though these kids have been in a hospital for months, they were laughing and playing and have formed strong bonds with their doctors and nurses. We had a fun time filming and playing with the kids. We will finish filming the rest of this project outside in a week or so and then move into post.
This week we’re in pre-production for an artist named Owl City (Universal Republic). We’re excited about this project and can’t wait to get started on building the set this Monday.
We figured it time for a little update about what’s been going on with Endeavor.
In April we took a trip down to Nashville to attend this years Dove Awards. We were nominated for Music Video of the Year for our House of Heroes video. Unfortunately we did not win, but it was an honor to be nominated and we had a blast at the award ceremony. Feel free to check out the nominated video here: http://iendeavormedia.com/videos/hoh.html
This month we finished up a video for Vancouver’s rock outfit, The Veer Union (Universal Motown). We owe a huge thanks to our crew who built and lit an amazing set. Also, a special thanks to Mogul Mind Studio’s for working with us on this job. Check out the video here: http://iendeavormedia.com/videos/tvu.html
We’re also in post on a new August Burns Red video for their new album. We love working with them and are grateful for them choosing us to do their last 3 videos. Be sure to check out the video and their album in July. Feel free to check out some production photos here: http://iendeavormedia.com/meddler
A few months back, we created a video for The Chariot which involved a massive amount of hand drawn animation and hundreds of hours compiling the animations to make this video. It’s a mixture of inspiration from old Nintendo games like “Rampage” and memories of stick figure drawings we all did as kids. Special thanks to Kris Boban of the extra help. In March, we made our way to Paris, France to work with Erin McCarley (Universal Republic) and her single “Love, Save the Empty”. It was an amazing trip and we love the way the video came out. The video debuted made its way into the VH1 Top 20 Countdown for several weeks. Check out the video: http://iendeavormedia.com/videos/erin.html
Also in March, we directed a video for Mandisa. The name may sound familiar as she was a finalist on American Idol Season 5. It’s a totally different demographic then what we normally work with but was a blast working with her and we wish her the best in her “Journey to 100″. You may notice that our webpage has a new face/look. It was designed and created by Jeremy at Midnight Morning Inc. He’s worked with many clients including Columbia Records, EMI, Universal Music, Tooth & Nail Records and many others . He has done an awesome job and I highly recommend checking out his work for any print, web, or merch needs. One of the best designers that we’ve had the pleasure of working with.
Our latest music video for The Veer Union (Universal Motown) is now premiering on AOL Music and Noisecreep. Check out the video below and let us know what you think.
We shot the performance of August Burns Red’s new video for “Meddler”. We had a great time working with the band for the 3rd time. The shoot was pretty crazy though to say the least. It was an all night shoot in the middle of nowhere and a good handful of things kept going wrong. Our generator died on us due to a bad sensor, but our amazing Gaffer fixed it. Then our 3 ton grip truck got stuck in the mud and it took us about an hour and a half at the end of the shoot at 6am to get it out. Not to mention that the land was infested with ticks and other man eating bugs. It was an interesting night. We set out to shoot the conceptual elements this weekend.
So you may have noticed our newly designed webpage. Jeremy at Midnight Morning killed the job and made us an amazing webpage. While fixing up a few things on our server I messed up our blog, so we have to start from scratch, fun! That is why you’ll see this is only the second post.
So with all the changes with our new site and trying to do some spring cleaning, I accidentally deleted our blog. Please bear with us as we get it back up and going.
